Natural Attractions in Albania
Lake Shkodra is the largest lake in the Balkan Peninsula. Located between Albania and Montenegro, Lake Shkodra has an area of 362 km2; from which 149 km2 belong to Albania.
Located in the eastern part of the country, bordered with Republic of Macedonia, Ohrid Lake is the most popular among the Albanian lakes.
The National Park of Prespa consists of areas from all the three countries, including the lakes of Prespa Major and Prespa Minor, as well as their reservoir basin.
