Kazanlak
Kazanlak is located in the central part of Bulgaria, at the foot of the Balkan mountain range, at the eastern end of the famous Rose Valley. Kazanlak is the center of Bulgarian rose oil extraction and the oil-production.
The most interesting tourist attractions in the town is Kazanlak Thracian Tomb dating back to the end of the 4th and the beginning of the 3rd century BC. The frescoes in the burial chamber and in the corridor are of extreme artistic value and the tomb is unrivaled in Europe for its preserved mural paintings. Kazanlak tomb is suscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979.
