Karlštejn Castle
Located 20 km southwest from Prague, Karlštejn is the most popular destination for visitors from Prague. With its dominating Great Tower, the monumental gothic castle built in the 14th century on a picturesque site in the middle of dense forests. The castle was founded by the Czech King and Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV. Karlštejn became the treasury of the crown jewels and holy relics.
