Szanticska
Szanticska is one of this Hungary’s smallest, still inhabited settlements – with a total population of 3 people in 1998. The village consists of 19 houses and 2 small churches. An attempt to return life to the village was begun towards the end of the 1990’s, with the revival of the traditional local values, the display of rural trades and crafts, and the establishment of workshops. The village’s development program had the distinction of being awarded the European Village Renewal Prize.  Szanticska |
