Virparzar

Virparzar is a small town located in Montenegro. Although small, it is blessed with a wide range of attractions like hotels, sites, a lake, a national park etc. Basically, this is a town in which if you decide to take a tour through it, whether you find yourself in it for a business get away, en route to another place or for a holiday, it has a lot to offer you.

To get to the town, you will have to use either the train or travel by road. For the latter, be extremely careful especially if you are on a bus. Instruct whoever is driving to stop you right at the Virparzar bus station because you alone, would not be in a position to identify it easily. Why so, you ask? The buses do not exactly pass through the town. They only pass by a bus stop that is located about two kilometers from the town.

The main attraction in Virparzar is the lake, in which you can go to admire the site and even engage in a little bit of fishing. To do so, you can hire a boat and explore the lake as well as the Skadar Lake National Park in which the Lake is located. This national park is a home to a wide range of creatures that you are obviously going to find interesting.

The lake has also an equally adept beach that would provide the ideal spot for you to relax on any sunny day. You can for example, have a picnic on it as you enjoy the landscape sight.
And speaking about sight-seeing, you can also make your way to the abandoned castle within the town. If you go to its top floor, you will have a view of the lake and all the mountains that surround it. This is such a breath-taking view that you cannot afford to leave without taking a picture of the beautiful scenery.
The town is also close in proximity to other attractions in Montenegro. An example of such attractions is the Rijeka Crnojevica, that you will love hiking to, especially if you are a nature and adventure lover.
Food within Virparzar is great. However, it is necessary to make sure you choose the best places to dine. There are restaurants that will charge you quite a large sum of money for just an ordinary meal. The same applies to the accommodation. Be exploitative and you will undoubtedly find yourself cheap rooms at a good hotel.

Virparzar maybe a small town, but please, do not underestimate what it may have to offer. It has quite a lot in store for you especially if you love sightseeing and adventure.
