The unique festival combines the magical atmosphere of the Gothic Kremnica castle church and the ravishing tones of the organ. This unforgettable experience is enhanced by best-known composers’ works presented by outstanding organ music personalities from all over the world.
The 14th European Organ Festival – Kremnica Castle Organ 2010 takes place in the beautiful setting of St Catherine Church at the Kramnica Castle. The majestic premises of the Gothic church combined with the marvellous tones of the organ’s almost 3500 pipes and 60 stops leave virtually everyone with an impressive musical experience.
Musical guests of the festival belong to the absolute world’s top. Organ players from 21 countries, including the USA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Austria, or Hungary, have so far given concerts at the festival.
Due to the presence of distinct foreign organ music personalities, the festival has become a prominent international event of high artistic level.
