T-Mobile Connection Day free concert - 2010 - Rod Stewart

A free large-scale event that attracts masses of crowds, a real joyride, where mega celebrity sponsored by the telecommunications company arrives in Budapest to perform in front of several hundreds of thousands of people at '56 Square (Felvonulási tér, City Park). The event has been graced so far by such famous stars as Sting, Lionel Richie, or Pink.  The Megastar of the year 2010 is Rod Stewart!

Rod Stewart will have a concert in Budapest, Hungary, on June 26th 2010. The concert will be free, as it's part of the Connection Day Festival. A two-day celebration that commemorates the withdrawal of the Soviet troops from Hungary in 1991.

Various musical and cultural programs provide for entertainment. The event ends with the Connection Day Concert (26th June) on Ötvenhatosok tere (Dózsa György út) near Heroes' Square. A famous pop star or band gives a concert every year. This year it's Rod Stewart as he has included this performance in his European Tour.
