Trakai Medieval Festival 2010

Trakai History Museum events will revivify the medieval town spirit with market hoopla, respectable merchants and fineladies, gabbleofhappy children, craftsmen workshops, music, theatre and clangour of knights’ armour and swords. Noses will be thrilled with delicious aroma of food prepared on the spot, and seasoned with forest herbs.

It is important that everyone coming here is afforded an opportunity not only to be a spectator but also to be a participant. Huge interest is always garnered by jousts and simulated scenes from medieval life. Knights will come here not only from Lithuania but also from the knight clubs of Poland, Belarus and Russia. The festival will also feature concerts of medieval music and dance, folk-rock, spectacular shows, games and educative classes for children.
