Reszel

Situated in Northern Poland, about 75 km northeast of Olsztyn, Reszel is a small market town. Reszel’s main attraction is the two-winged red brick Bishop’s castle, which was built between the 14^th and 16^th centuries. Today the castle houses the Gallery of Modern Art. Reszel has many well-preserved historical buildings; the old town’s narrow streets are lined with eclectic old houses.

The town hall standing in the market square was built in the 19^th century. The St Peter’s Church was built in the 14^th century in the Gothic style. The Fishing Bridge, built in the 14^th century in the Gothic style, spans the banks of the river.
