Reszel
Situated in Northern Poland, about 75 km northeast of Olsztyn, Reszel is a small market town. Reszel’s main attraction is the two-winged red brick Bishop’s castle, which was built between the 14th and 16th centuries. Today the castle houses the Gallery of Modern Art. Reszel has many well-preserved historical buildings; the old town’s narrow streets are lined with eclectic old houses.
The town hall standing in the market square was built in the 19th century. The St Peter’s Church was built in the 14th century in the Gothic style. The Fishing Bridge, built in the 14th century in the Gothic style, spans the banks of the river. Castle in Reszel |
