Novi Sad
Situated on the bank of the Danube River, Novi Sad is the second largest city in Serbia and the capital of Vojvodina province. Called as „Serbian Athens”, Novi Sad’s old town (Stari Grad) is known by its mainly baroque, neoclassical buildings and churches. Novi Sad is also a lively university town with several museums and cultural programs.
 Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad Novi Sad’s main tourist attraction is the Petrovaradin citadel, which was built in the 17th century. The fortress functions today as a museum and a picnic area. The fortress is also a site for 88 art studios of Novi Sad-based painters and sculptors, and the venue of EXIT, the biggest music festival in Serbia and also one of the most important cultural event in Central- and Eastern Europe.
