Budimir Mansion
The village of Budimir is located in the eastern part of Slovakia, about 10 km north of Košice. The main attraction in Budimir is the Újházy Mansion. The Újházy Mansion, which can be found next to the main road, was built in the middle of the 18th century. It owes its present appearance to the Classicist style modifications which were carried out at the beginning of the 19th century. The rectangular, two-storey mansion, with a centrally stepped front façade, is surrounded by a French style garden. Since the 1960’s it has hosted an exhibition from the Technical Museum.
