Elafonisi Beach is located in Crete, in the south west coast of the Chania prefecture, about 80 km from the city of Chania.  Elafonissi Beach is among the best rated beaches in Greece. Due to its white sand beach and warm shallow waters  Elafonisi Beach is particularly popular among tourists.
