With a population of more than 11 million, Bangkok is the largest and most populated city in Thailand. Renowned also as one of Asia’s most sophisticated cities, Bangkok is the capital of the country. It became the Thai capital in 1782 during the Chakri dynasty and is by today the nation’s cultural, political, educational and commercial hub. Bangkok is a big and contemporary city full of attractions and exciting nightlife.
The historic roots of this phenomenal city lie mainly along the riverside. Those visiting the Riverside of Bangkok will be able to discover its centuries old traditions, past kingdoms, heroes and even traitors. It is also one of the most picturesque and lively parts of Bangkok. B

The riverside is complete with significant historical landmarks, palaces, temples, lavish hotels and even modern day skyscrapers.
