Costa Rica is located in Central America and is officially known as “Republic of Costa Rica” . It is bordered by Nicaragua on the North side, Panama to the eastern and South side with Pacific Ocean to its West side and Caribbean Sea to its eastern side. As the name implies, Costa Rica also means “Rich Coast”, with long stretches of alluring and bright beaches. It is even known as “Switzerland of the Americans” due to its scenery, plants and animals, and ecology.

The culture in Costa Rica is similar to religious culture in the developed European countries. Spanish is the main language here and about 97% of the total population considers Spanish as their mother tongue.

Guitar is the most well-known musical instrument and is particularly used in folk dances of Costa Rica. Reggae and Reggaton are popular dance forms here along with salsa, cumbia, soca, meringue, bachata, and Costa Rican swing. Thus, Costa Rica is really a energetic country where people in fact enjoy their lives to the fullest.
