Powderhorn ski area is located in Colorado. The resort has all of the amenities for outdoor activities any time of the year, but the best time of the year is definitely the ski season. There are over 1600 skiable acres, supported by several chair lifts – one quad, two doubles and one surface. They receive an average snowfall of 250 inches. Most people associate Denver, Colorado with snow. After all, they are located just east of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, a full mile above sea-level.
