United Arab Emirates vacation tips

If you are planning a trip to the United Arab Emirates, there are a large number of interesting tours and trips you can consider. Below though a look at five of my favourites for interesting trip ideas that can help you have a memorable trip to the United Arab Emirates.

1. Shopping in Dubai - The UAE is famous worldwide for its shopping experiences and many people opt to shop in this country due to the absence of sales tax. The best shopping destination in the country is Dubai, where they hold yearly shopping festivals in the months of January and February.

2. Ajman beach - The UAE is home to some of the warmest and most beautiful beaches in the world. The country is home to miles and miles of white sand beaches with numerous luxury resorts dotting the coastline and Ajman is the best place to experience this. Ajman beach is a great beach for tourist with its easy access also and comes highly recommended.

3. Stay at the Burj al Arab - The UAE is home to some of the most well-known and extravagant luxury hotels on the planet. Hotels like the Emirates Palace and the iconic Burj al-Arab offer some of the most luxurious and expensive hotel experiences in existence.

4. Desert Safari in Abu Dhabi- Taking a desert safari is a must for visitors to the country who really want to see the beauty of the UAE. There are many establishments that offer desert safaris and allow tourists to ride on camels. Travellers can either take four-wheel drive SUVs or for a more up-close-and-personal experience, some may opt for the smaller, more manoeuvrable ATV bikes. This really is a quite cultural and unique opportunity to do something which is unlike what you would experience in other countries.

5. Hot Air Ballooning in Dubai - One of the best ways to see the United Arab Emirates is by hot air balloon. There are many establishments that offer hot air balloon rides in the UAE, particularly in Dubai. Balloon rides are best taken during the early mornings or late afternoons when the sun is low in the sky. Balloon rides offer travellers with an unforgettable view of the UAE deserts and cities. Having tried ballooning in the UK, I found many trips were cancelled due to inclement weather. In The UAE this is far less of a problem and makes this place a perfect location for ballooning.
