The winds off the coast are a little fiercer and depending on the time of day can be too dangerous for a newbie. Experienced windsurfers may find the sea a lot more challenging and prefer to spend their time there over the Mar Menor. For a windsurfer, Spain does not only offer schools to allow you to further you skills but also have a range of shops that will repair your gear or supply you with the top of the range latest equipment.
