Paris is regarded as one of the most beautiful city in world, the most romantic city and city of dreams for people who love art. Paris has been known as the monumental city, cause there are so many well recognized monuments in this city as compared to other cities in world. Paris is beautiful with its tree shade like boulevards, many romantic bridges which are illuminated by the wrought iron lamps. The city has many wicker chair filed café terraces and the timeless beauty in the spirit of Paris. Paris is city to love and explore. And if you have just one day to see around the city then Beachtraveller will tell you what all you can see and do in city:

To begin with start your morning early, and start from the southern bank of Seine and there you will see the over all panoramic view of Paris and sight from the Place de la Concorde. In front of you the Paris is spread and you can see the exclusive to Paris the Eiffel Tower, Seine and Champs Elysees. Enjoy the beauty of the Paris, and know why the people get in love with this amazing city. Know the bloody history of the guillotine where many famous heads were lopped off for example, The Louis XVI’s, Danton, Marie-Antonette, Jardin des Tuileres.

Paris is known for its history , and without visiting the historical locations the visit to Paris is incomplete. One place that you must go is in the Hotel des Invalides which was the 17th century residence of the war veterans, the place has military museum and there is the famous Napoleon’s Tomb. Walking through the its sprawling gardens and the grounds will also be a beautiful time.

Paris is city to see the collection of the most beautiful paintings in the whole world. Musee de l’ Orangerie where you can see the renown Monet’s Waterlilies painting and other famous paintings of the Matisse, Sisley, Soutine, Picasso, Cazanne, Renoir and the Utrillo. Other then that there is the Rodin Museum were you can see the rose garden which has many beautiful sculptures. Here you can rest and spend relaxing time in this superb spot, in shades of tress and be with the The Thinker residing there.

Well the view from far is not enough to Eiffel Towermarvel the Eiffel Tower. Visiting the place is must, and experience going yo yo up and down through the north, east and west pillars of the Paris which is the signature tower of it. ascent till the top. Or climb the stairs in the south if you feeling energetic.

Catch Batobus which is a hop on and then hop off waterbus and then visit the Jardin des Plantes, and visit the herbs garden which has been founded in 1626. There are many herbs garden in Paris and its serious institution but also fascinating to visit. There is winter Garden, and beautiful tropical greenhouses and the alpine gardens. There is school of botany and the menagerie.

Visit the old intellectual incubator, at the Latin Quarter, where the students from the university converse in Latin, this is the center of the academic in the Paris. The Famous Sorbonne’s University and its campus, is beautiful to see as well which is lined with lime trees and has many fountains. Enjoy the pigeon flying and squirting around in the gardens and squares. Take the area’s pulse by heading to the lively and commercial street in campus in Mouffetard with its medieval looks, with colorful bars, cheap yet delighting eatries, market stalls and inexpensive clothing, which showcases the Paris fashion as well.

St Germain des Pres is another amazing place to go in Paris. This is also the mythological part of the Paris. But St Germain des Pres is for people who are creative, for here in its cafes, eatries sitting in the window lanes, many legendary writers like de Beauvoir, Hemingway, Pound, Stein, Sartre, Fitzgerald, Camus, and Joyce drink, scribble and engage in their earnest debates. Also this is uptown place, with many clothing boutiques and upscale places.

Move around on the bridges during the night time with lamps lit, with sepia glow in the darkened water. Sip champagne in old world bars and if you are in couple tehn dine a deux in the candle light bistros.
