Singapore is a beautiful tropical island city. I know. I live there.
Early in the morning, I look out of the window. I watch the sun rise, through the forest.
Our family outings are often to the Singapore Zoo, which features tropical plants as well as animals all around the world. A tropical flower I saw in the zoo.
Monkeys roam freely around the monkey trail. So do the peacocks and some other small creatures. Rest assured, the tigers and lions are kept in their enclosure, they are fed well and do not mingle with us humans.
You see the animals, close to their natural environment. The lucky elephants have a beautiful tropical jungle like area where they roam. Here’s a family of elephants on a regular day. elephants.
On a family vacation, you really should bring the kids to the Singapore zoo. Here’s our kid’s favourite zoo resident. He’s really shy. Click on the picture for a better view.
There aren’t any mountains in Singapore. There are hills though. The ones to visit are Mount Faber and Bukit Timah hill.
