Top 5 Worst Attractions in Dubai

Posted By MarvaoGuide Posted on

A vacation to Dubai equals a holiday in one of the busiest and most popular cities in the world. Nonetheless, although everything you have heard about the place is positive and pleasant, some attractions aren’t exactly what they’re cracked up to be. In other words, they are overrated and not as impressive as you might have read or heard. If you wish to spend your time wisely, when you’re in Dubai, keep on reading!

  1. Dubai Miracle Gardens

Albeit Dubai Miracle Gardens is a major draw point, that is definitely an overrated spot. It’s true that the gardens are well-maintained and nice, but the sum of money you pay for the entrance is typically high. Additionally, there is no air conditioning, which means that you are prone to spend a small fortune on drinks and ice cream to cool off from the heat.

  1. Dubai Fountains

The majority of attractions in Dubai are packed with ever-growing crowds, because of the publicity. You can find the tiring crowds particularly from 6 pm to 9 pm. The show lasts for only a couple of minutes, and terrible, loud music accompanies it. The conclusion is that this is certainly an overrated attraction, which you’d be better if you didn’t include it on your to-do list.

  1. Top of the Burj Al Arab

This place is a tacky, overrated location in Dubai. The spectacular view which attracts most foreign tourists to visit the Burj Al Arab can be enjoyed only from a couple of tables. The vast majority of tables don’t have the stunning, scenic view, which accounts for a major disappointment. The prices are also outrageous; the food tastes ok, but still, it isn’t spectacular. Plus, unless you get a reservation, you don’t get the chance to see the view, which isn’t as spectacular as it is said to be.

  1. The Dubai Mall

The Dubai Mall is unusually crowded and huge. The immensity of the place makes it particularly tiresome, and visiting every single store in the mall isn’t possible, since there are so many. At the same time, the prices are rocket high, which limits your shopping choices if you’re not a Rockefeller. It’s just like any other mall; the difference is that it is over the top, and expensive.

  1. Aqua Adventure Waterpark

The entry prices to Aqua Adventure Waterpark are higher than the entrance fee to any other water themed park in Europe. The place is overflowing with people, and the changing rooms aren’t necessarily the cleanest, not to mention that the food is overpriced and lacks in quality. At the same time, you have to wait in line for hours.

And lastly, before traveling to Dubai, make sure to choose professional Dubai airport transfers. If you wish to enjoy a comfortable, quick drive to your accommodation from the hotel, this is the best alternative, since it enables you to save time and money. You can choose from multiple transport choices, just to name a few low-cost sedan cars, minivans, buses, minibuses, luxury executive sedans.
